Here the pvc pipe is lifted up and out of the way to facilitate the hoisting and removal of the draft tube from the south end flume outlet. It’s a bit of a trick and we’ll need a couple of extra hands to pull the draft tube due to constraints of the outlet hole, but the majority of the AM test bed assembly can be installed or uninstalled by one person in less than a day. We’ll perform an inspection to the system and make a number of improvements to the draft tube and get it re-installed to resume testing. Also adding a new gasket between the intake adapter and the upsteam end of the pvc pipe.
