So… a colleague pinged me back toward the end of August that he’d checked out our blog on the conveyance adaptor work we did with the great folks at ORNL MDF. It was mentioned that the date of that blog was from February, So… yea it’s been a long time passing since that post! And I get why startups work in “stealth mode” and basically don’t have anything on their site but a way to contact them: 1) not many folks actually visit the site, and 2) it takes time to write something up and maybe you’re working to actually build something new. So… this gives us a chance to catch up a bit after long last.
At the end of the day, the best reason to make a post is because we are building hardware and even though it’s a lot of baby steps maybe we give our visitors a peak at what’s to come. Our vision hasn’t wavered – machines design (auto-optimized CAD software tools) and machines build (additive manufacturing). So below is a pic of our AM draft tube prepared to be installed in the flume. It may not look like much (as a first – it is kind of a big deal)…
