Mainly just wanted to show you all the re-painted Rome Mill sign with the classic red/white checkerboard, painted and sealed with TLC by a local resident last summer. It looks fantastic! We started testing ultra-low head water power technologies in April, 2009 at the Rome Mill. First up was the “Steinbine”, a hydrokinetic unit with some promise but also a number of operational issues that left it dead in the water.
